Welcome to A Global Classroom
We develop curriculum and design experiential learning programs in Global Politics, Social Studies, and the Humanities.
This post introduces the part of our work designed for inside the classroom: the lessons, units, and courses we create for teachers and students.
Teaching Global Issues Today is Demanding.
Global events change quickly, and students are expected to work with complex ideas, sources, and case studies, often with limited time.
AGC lessons are designed to support teachers by providing ready-to-use materials that focus on clarity, structure, and academic rigor.
The aim is to reduce preparation time while maintaining high expectations for student understanding, thinking and writing.
Who These Lessons Are For
Our lessons are designed primarily for educators teaching:
International Relations
Human Rights
Development and Global Disparities
Mass Atrocities and Global Justice
Peace and Conflict
They are suitable for:
Upper secondary / high school courses
Introductory university-level courses
How AGC Lessons Are Structured
AGC lessons are developed as part of sequenced units and courses.
Lessons typically:
Introduce key concepts or theories
Apply those ideas through recent case studies
Build analytical and writing skills incrementally
End with structured assessments
Courses can be used as complete units or drawn from selectively to support existing curricula.
Designed for Classroom Use
All AGC lessons are designed to be practical and adaptable.
Materials are created in Google Docs and Canva so teachers can:
Edit content
Remove or add activities
Adjust pacing
Share materials directly with students
Lessons are meant to support, not replace, teacher judgment.
